Lots of fun and ingenuity in the service of electric mobility! ⚡💚 What could be more natural for Valeo, as a global and key player in electrification, than to host the Greenpower Challenge, an academic challenge dedicated to electric mobility, at its new mobility center in Amiens, France? The program includes designing, building, and racing electric cars. The goal is to encourage young people to discover their potential and develop a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while raising their awareness of the challenges of carbon-free mobility.

Fascinating, high-level discussion on a critical and timely topic! It was in London at the Future of the Car Summit organized by the Financial Times, as part of a panel on how to adapt to changing trade policies and navigate a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, with Barbara Frenkel from Porsche, Benjamin Krieger from CLEPA and Jean-Luc Di Paola Galloni from Valeo. Jean-Luc Di Paola Galloni reiterated the importance of “restoring a level playing field across the value chain, through the introduction of a minimum threshold for local content for all cars sold in the European Union”. This principle was included for the first time in the Commission's action plan for the future of the automotive industry. “Valeo’s strategy is based on foresight, allowing agility in an increasingly unpredictable global environment. Our long-standing focus on regional presence in production as well as R&D contribute to reducing exposure to tariffs and policy changes.”

Our Q1 sales figures are out 👀 ➡️In a challenging environment, Valeo's sales totaled €5.3 billion in the first quarter. ➡️Valeo confirms its 2025 guidance, thanks to the rapid adjustment of its costs and its rigorous policy in terms of mitigating and compensating tariffs. ➡️Valeo has achieved new commercial successes in ADAS.

Valeo 🤝 Appotronics We're collaborating with Appotronics to create new front lighting systems that utilizes innovative laser video projection technology. 💡 By combining their expertise, Valeo and Appotronics will offer headlight solutions that provide advanced lighting functions (ADB) to complement traditional lighting functions (LH/HB), thereby improving safety and comfort for drivers and other road users. We will leverage its integration and software capabilities to integrate Appotronics state of the art ALPD® laser display technology. The front lighting system will offer high-definition information projection onto the ground, as well as outdoor movie projection capabilities—enabling video playback on flat surfaces or dedicated screens outside the vehicle.
